Taylor Barr wins major Scottish Engineering award

The winner of the Graduate Apprentice Engineer of the Year Award 2026 is Taylor Barr of Ritchie Precision for delivering Industry 4.0 projects that improved CNC programme traceability, productivity and quality control, all whilst supporting recovery efforts following a major fire at one of our Livingston units.

Taylor studied Engineering Design and Manufacture at the University of Strathclyde. Many congratulations to him for this important award which recognises all his hard work both at university and at Ritchie Precision.
